What is orgonite?

Orgonite is a mixture of metal shavings, quartz and cast resin, which together can harmonize energy. The idea comes from the theory of Wilhelm Reich, a scientist who discovered that there is a kind of life energy, (ether,chi,prana) or also called orgone energy. as Wilhelm Reich himself calls it. Orgonite helps balance this energy and transform negative energy into positive energy.

Our handmade pendants contain as much metal shavings as possible, so they work at their best. Large pendants are even hand formed, making each piece unique. Then they are hand-polished so they are beautifully smooth and comfortable to wear.

How does orgonite work?

The action of orgonite comes from the combination of quartz and metals:

• Quartz amplifies and transforms energy. The crystal responds to pressure and voltage, an effect known as the piezoelectric effect. This allows the quartz to generate and harmonize subtle energy.

In our pendants, we use polyester casting resin instead of regular epoxy. This resin shrinks a little more during curing, which makes the piezoelectric effect of the quartz even more pronounced. Together with the quartz and metal shavings, this creates a powerful, harmonizing effect.
